Please now lets try not to let this thread get too far off track, we don't want to go wasting moderator resources do we?

Does that mean we can call you whatever we want, and expect not to be punished for it?

just for the record Ed.Bob did refer to me as an "asshole" rather than an "arsehole" and altho I'd pretty sure Ed. Bob is neither American nor Brit, as I am American the first spelling would be appropriate.
I do however try to be pretty easy going so please when referring to me just use the spelling you're comfy with, but please do try to be respectful and use the preface "Mr. "
thank you,

| | Re: a public apology | Quote: | | | | | I would like to publicly apologize for apparently being an ungrateful asshole.
Previously I would have that that calling someone on open forum an ungrateful asshole was a cause for banning, and a public apology rather than a cause for being banned, but as both Ed.Bob and Uncle Max have used the term clearly it is an acceptable form of communication here on EF.
Regardless of that,as I said above I would like to apologize... | | | | | | Quote: | | | | | well, as I said I would like to apologize but................

If you non-English speakers who are not used to this form of communication would like to learn something, go into your browser, find "Options", and put a little tick in the "Read Between The Lines" box, then click apply, some four letter NSFW language may appear to broaden your knowledge of "Industrial English"
Anyway - welcome back | The following 2 users would like to thank Caviarchips for this useful post: | |

Hold the phones...
I got a thread retitled because I called someone a bitch (well...she was!), but we *are* allowed to call people assholes?
Is it because any gender can be an asshole, but a bitch is female only, and thus "non-PC"?

EB has been decidedly quiet since his little outburst. Is he stuffing his face so full of humble pie he is unable to speak?
(Metaphorically, obviously)
