off topic -useless thread

my thread on carpet snakes was just closed and deleted for reason
"useless thread"

since when did off topic have to be more than funny, or entertaining which everyone that posted to it seemed to think it was.

Re: off topic -useless thread

Maybe it would have lasted longer if it was about trouser snakes.

Re: off topic -useless thread

You see, if you had been kinder and more respectful to LIB this would not have happened, and now you are an ungrateful whatsit, propogating useless threads!

What was the question again please, about the carpet and tripping over it?

I'd never do that, I enjoy reading most of what you write.

But getting annoyed about a Mod doing what Mods are meant to do and keeping the site clear of clutter and crap.....well, isn't life too short for that? I mean - the thread wasn't exactly Pulitzer winning, was it? I know - I was responsible for some of the crap on there

Re: off topic -useless thread

It's nothing new or unsurprising. Plenty of these threads get deleted or trashed.

I know, it's happened to me too on several occasions. It was a fair cop, and I just got on with life.
