Greenback tax services question

I realise it's paid advertising, but it's not a thread at all as when you click on it, it takes you straight to their website. Is this the way it's supposed to be?

I thought it should be a thread with a link to their website.

Yeah. There's a couple that do that.

I've queried it with Admin in the past and was told, "Yes, it redirects correctly."

But of course it not being a thread, no one can reply which means it will be lost in the bowels of EF dead threads. Great advertising opportunity eh?

Thanks mirfield. I've obviously never clicked on any of the others which redirect before.

Grumpy - sticky threads don't disappear so this one will be top of the list so long as they keep paying the advertising invoices.

I was always taught that it's bad parctice to redirect unexpectedly, but meh; as long as my pay cheque arrives at the end of the day...

Yeah but we all know that nobody reads the stickies anyway. If they did we wouldn't get hundreds of threads asking if you can survive on 500 000chf a year.
