All times are GMT -5. The time now is 11:20

Umm... Is it just me or is the forum time *usually* more or less correct "Swiss time" (GMT+1?)
I feel like I'm in a time warp and everyone's posting in the past....
(or am I the only one goofing off at work?)

This is one you can fix:

Go to "My Setting" => "Edit Options" => "Date & Time Options"

Knock yourself out.

Dude. Now I feel like an idiot.
Promise I checked "MySettings" but didn't see the Date and Time options bit.

Maybe I should have googled it first?

you're not the first and won't be the last. where were you when you registered - in the US? I ask because I'm sure the default goes to the DST'd CET (and yes, that apostrophe is correct) and therefore I question if you changed it or it "did" something?

Yeppers. Registered in US central time, and had the auto-detect daylight savings time option clicked. But weird thing is today's the first time I noticed the board time being off... so either I was oblivious or something had self-set and then re-set itself when I moved here (OK, one of those options is sounding a lot more likely...)

ah the self-setting re-setting set-set.
I'm assuming maybe it decided GMT -5 but that's Eastern. Let me drink another beer rather than investigate

It's also Central with DST, unless I have drunk too few beers to investigate correctly

Whew! I thought I had a script that was taking care of the time creep induced by VMware. Glad to find out it is still working.
