EF "Compliment corner"?

Suggestion
Simple as the title. I bet we've all read a some EF users complaining about some negative experience on the Complaints corner right? It's a good thread in the Forum so we get warned bad conducted services or products here in Switzerland.

But why no "Compliment corner"? as I also bet we sometimes in our live have some really good experience which we would like to share and recommend to other users here on EF.

Re: EF "Compliment corner"?

The problem is that the vast majority of people on here live in Switzerland - except for banjo playing mods - and the vast majority of them weren't born here, didn't grow up here and came for the money (or came as a trailing spouse to someone who came for the money).**

Therefore nothing is better here, everything is slower, more expensive, not open, not as good and more expensive than where they left to come to Switzerland for the money. So there are no compliments.

Complaints though, there are many - especially the lack of good quality Mexican places. Just to clarify on that - the US has an open border with Mexico - well technically it is closed, but that's like saying a hooker's legs are closed, the truth is you just have pay the right person the right amount of money and they are open. So with a border to the country and some stupid % of the country coming from Mexico it is little wonder that you can a great Mexican on every street corner. Switzerland doesn't have a particularly strong and long standing relationship with Mexico, nor a particularly large Mexican population, for some strange reason the swim across the atlantic and then hike across France is considered just a bit too much hassle for them - lazy Mexcicans!!!! Therefore it is overly surprising to semi-intelligent person that Switzerland is now awash with great taco places.

**They'll be some who get offended by that, it is your choice to be offended by that, you won't die of being offended, you won't even get ill, you won't wake up tomorrow with leprosy because today you were offended. I'm offended by fluffy kitten forum posters and boy bands but I don't go round bleating about it.

LOL.

He was wrong about being offended. That turned out to be extremely contagious, I would claim it's worse than covid and people seem to be born feeling offended now. And no cure in site.

Re: EF "Compliment corner"?

Perhaps we can just have compliments for our favourite moderators. With human sacrifices to appease the mods. In fact I just wrote a poem.

Oh EF mods, oh EF mods,
You are the ones who carry the hods
Of bricks of EF user gripes
You must get through many hand wipes.

Cheers,
Nick
