Lets organize a resistence party against federative abuse of mods authoritarism!!!

Ok Zurich is a bit far from me, we shall meet in the center of the tiny village in Fribourg I live in.

PS: if more than 3 people want to participate, inform before there might not be enough space and we could stress the cows...
I think it would be a bit more environmentally conscious if we just all went in the garden and ate worms.

I PM'd someone today, and they didn't receive it.
Does EF still exist - and would they tell us if it didn't?
Their post box might be full.

Goodness, well that explains why my life seems to be incredibly lacking in good coaching advice.

Will rectify immediately.

Re: Thread Closure Bug

Came up with invalid thread specified message when I just clicked on the e-mail link. Guess it was either by request or because of the increasing foul attitude. Whatever, it wasn't going to last long with the comments being thrown back and forth.

She got to be quite abusive pretty quickly so from my perspective, good riddance. Just too bad about the long and helpful post you made

Not on request, but the bile it spewed shouldn't be left on this forum imo. When I banned the user I got the message that "1 thread and 4 private messages will be deleted" - I assume they sent some abusive pm's too. Unfortunately it deleted the entire thread and hence lost the good post. Sorry (but not enough to stop me OTBCing them).

No, just spam deputy tools. And to the roegner's post below (I can predict the future!) - unfortunately if a user is banned and they initiated a thread, the entire thread gets zapped.

Well, the thread has disappeared and she had a limited amount of posts. If you ban someone does then the whole thread disappear??

I sometimes think these threads should be closed, but left as examples of How Not to ask for help.

If astrus had simply asked a few real questions and supplied enough information for us to at least try and help, rather than throwing a foul-mouthed hissy fit the second it became obvious that what she wanted simply wasn't going to be legally possible then the whole thing would have turned out differently.

Longbyt's replies were perfectly reasonable, Medea's post informative and useful. It was rather silly of the OP to have expected lots of quick replies and fact-filled answers on a holiday weekend though!

Everyone seems to expect instant gratification these days. Foreplay must be very outdated.
If I was in charge of the country, I'd introduce power cuts to make them look up from their little screens & do something else from time to time and let them see you can live without being permanently attached to some beeping piece of equipment that counts how many steps you take so you know whether you can have a glass of wine instead of a diet coke this evening.

I doubt that an example thread or even a "how to be a human" FAQ would have helped in this case. Although I try to show tolerance for cultural differences and people for whom English isn't their mother tongue, I have zero tolerance for this sort of person.

People who already know not to shit where they eat don't need example threads, those who don't aren't going change (or even bother to read) anything that might negatively influence their hard won world view.

Me, me, me, it's all about me.
Answer the questions I am not asking. Immediately.
I'm not looking at those stupid links you provided. Who are you to tell me what to do???
Do you expect me to explain myself to a bunch of strangers?
I hate you all, legends in particular.
I'm going to insult you, for good measure.

It was fun for five minutes, but it got to be too much hate in too little time.

WTF is foreplay?
