You don't know what you are missing. Being an o.a.p. is a dream. Cheap this, cheap that, days off in the week with parking places free five metres from the entrance and no queues for the cable cars, the chaps in charge even having time to explain to my husband how it all works, in four hours of walking we saw about ten people (and ten zillion alpine flowers...)
People help me with the buggy when I'm out with my granddaughter, they smile at us when we both 'walk funny' because she loves doing it. It's just great.
Mind you, I wouldn't mind being a Forum Veteran too - so as long as there are interesting Threads to add to, I'll keep the posts rolling in...
