Forum search does not work (did not know where to post!)

Search result looks like

Search terms: trump

I also have this problem.

Additionally, I can't scroll down the results if I do a google search on the forum (there is no scroll bar).

Well, had you done a forum search, you'd have found that this issue has already been raised:
https://www.englishforum.ch/forum-su...ef-broken.html

In the mean time, I have found that the up/down arrow keys work for me enough to get to a page button (Firefox on Windows 10). It looks like the search results screen may have been optimised for a tablet or mobile phone.

EDIT:
I have just tried it again and now even the up/down arrow keys fail here. However, by multiple presses of the tab key, I can get to the bottom navigation bar and proceed further.

EDIT 2:
Also setting the zoom in the browser to 80% or 90% also reveals the navigation options at the bottom of the search page, but then the text is getting too small to read comfortably.

Just wanted to point out that while that issue had been raised in 2016; I personally ran into the issue only a few months ago. Prior to that it worked for me.

On Chrome the up and down buttons fail as well; can confirm that tab will bring you to the bottom of the page though.

Get only gobbledygook on EF search

(Different to the usual).

When using the search function since the past couple of days, I get only binary / Java or whatever.

Here an example of searching for my EF name, but I'm getting similar for everything. Is EF dying, or is my laptop calling out for help

!!! tried to upload a print-screen - that's also not working .

I do believe that it could be a very lonely Christmas...

Neither penetrating oil nor solvents will alleviate a lonely heart.

Hey, the normal search still doesn't work but the normal search did tackle one of the last posts - for which I am eternally grateful i.e. "Penetrating/creep oil and solvents".

Will now do a stress test on "how to affix my Santa Claus hat to my EF avatar" then

But now that you've leaked the link to putting a Santa Clause hat on my avatar, this will surely go a long way. Have book-marked the other stuff

You should have done it like MC (and samaire, I think), she wore it all year long

Are you sure? I am just sipping a fine Rioja Reserva which I am hoping has a good percentage of the solvent Ethanol. I am already seeing multiple friends in pastel colours
