What about a slight rework of the Complaints Corner?

Inspired by Susan's thread about the great service she received at Fust... https://www.englishforum.ch/daily-li...-computer.html

What about instead of just having the Complaints Corner section for complaints, we rename it something like "Complaints and Compliments" or "Rants and Raves", so that it is not only a source for all that is negative in the country, but also a place where people can choose to write about great service etc that they have received?

I think more often than not people like a good whinge about landlords, food, smoking, being stared at, public transport, cost of underwear, "The Swiss", etc.

Threads like Susan57's are a rare beast.

Much as I love positive posts like Susan's, the complaints are comedy gold sometimes.

I am not suggesting in any way to get rid of the complaints...

No, sorry - neither was I...

I just meant there would probably not be much uptake on compliments compared to complaints.

If people know there is place to put them there might be... so far it's only been known as a place for complaining.

I agree, it might bring some much needed positivity around here!
