| | no access to poster profile ?
Just tried to look at the profile of a new member, and I get
'' you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.''
never ever happened before. Can someone comment? Thanks

Happened to me as well a lot of times with new posters, when I had the curiosity to check again a few hours later, everithing was ok. Maybe just a matter of time?

It probably means that that poster is a newbie and his access has not yet been confirmed by a mod?

not at all- when a new poster comes with a strange and very vague question- it makes sense to look at profile instead of asking lots of questions | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

These days EB does most of the approvals, not mods.
Anyway, there are two things that require approval - new posts and new accounts. Not everyone who creates an account immediately makes a post.
Sometimes a post is approved but the account isn't yet approved and that's when you run into the situation described above.
