Susie-Q, you know I like you based on the little interaction we have had but why take anything anyone says online or even in real life, so seriously?

Unless V__ turns up on your doorstep with a Christmas bell you should not give a shit. It is bad for your own inner peace if you let people get under your skin
Thanks, I like you too.

I don't take it seriously at all, I just don't think this site should be a refuge for trolls - there is enough of that already on the internet.

I am however fed up with selfish people after 2020 and he is just one of the many I'm fed up with.

Because this is a community and people feel a level of connection, and there is no need for others to be needlessly unpleasant.

Yes, we could ignore it - but turning a blind eye to poor behaviour is often the first step in a community breaking apart.

See? You just poke and stir.
What did I do now?

I find people who are most vocal and critical about the rest of us living normal lives actually continue to do so, while complaining about others. How many posters here actually wrote: "I just went out for a walk and lots of people here and there, I thought we were in a lock down".

As for Bern Xmas market I'm serious, it's the only Xmas market in CH that I know of for this season, why not go and spend good time?

Sorry for butting in here, but I don't think Susie-Q was taking anything too seriously. She was simply pointing out something regarding V's behavior. There is a difference.

And on that note, I have noticed very similar behavior from V here, quite a few times. He or she essentially enjoys trying to upset others here, which by definition is trolling.

I very much love this - this is why I originally joined this site and it has only declined in the past years.

Well this is what he tends to do isn't it. He knows where the line is an treads very carefully. Enough to upset people but not get in trouble. Then if he does get in trouble he cries to MusicChick and the Local and here we are! One of my favourite mods and Ace1 cast away like dirt.

A couple of weeks ago I accidentally turned off email notifications from EF. I turned it back on yesterday and now my inbox is full of Mod coup notifications.

All of you who have tried to PM me today, sorry that I can't receive your messages. "Whoever" messed with my mod status also disabled PMs and did a couple of other things. Obviously Editor Bob would do strange, petty things like that—indeed, wouldn't demote two (or is it more?) mods without prior discussion and without an explanation, so I'm left scratching my head as to who could be behind this.
Wars broke out over such little typos.

One would think so, but there was a concerted effort some time back to provide an alternative. But it didn't work out well at all for a variety of reason.

EF has a huge database of knowledge and mostly excellent poster. If you google in English about a Swiss issue then EF is usually always near the top. It's how I found the place!

2 mods have been demodded against their will and without anyone owning up to it or bothering to commumicate with anyone at all. Suspects are admin or one other mod. Or something.

I'm hesitant to raise this in public, but it seems that I have no choice. I hope that it gets resolved quickly and removed from public view.

Something is not well in the moderator team.

A decision that was taken after consultation to ban certain members has been reversed.

22 yards, who proposed the ban, and myself, who supported it, have been removed from the Super Moderator and Moderator groups. Not only that, but our ability to send private messages has been artificially revoked, so we can't even message the other mods.

Another mod who is still a mod has contacted me to say she's been locked out of certain mod action. I can't reply though.

There are three possible culprits.
1. Another mod.
2. Editor Bob.
3. A hacker.
Has anyone in this 11 page thread actually bothered to contact Editor Bob/The Local? Since we don't know who did this at the very least the ex-mods involved should contact them to find out exactly what is going on. The least they are owed is an explanation of why bans were reversed and they demoted without notification/warning.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but basically this is what I understand of it...

Mod A and Mod B had blocked a user and now Mods C and D (or whatever) have unblocked that user and are trying to punish Mod A and Mod B for having blocked him.

Again someone please correct me if I'm wrong on that... because frankly, I find this whole god damn thing a bit confusing.

Ace and 22imperialmeters have been mysteriously removed as mods.
Accused with no evidence of performing this action are;
-unknown hackers
-another mod (MusicChick prime suspect)
-theLocal
-EditorBob.

To blame is V___ or TonyClifton.

Forum is going to hell, censorship, bullying, mobbing, disinformation, trolling have been mentioned.

St2sAreLemons and Fatmanfilms are attempting to take advantage and become mods.
