Deliberately inflammatory and unpleasant posts and an absolute refusal to engage.

If high heels are the standard... oh boy.

Plenty of educated folk on here. Though I think emotional intelligence is the most important quality needed.
It's the consistent doubling down when called out for offensive or disturbing posts that gets me.

The 'outrage' at MC's post was because it was posted by MC.
No one really cares, Brit or not, at a political jibe of an event that took place nearly 80 years ago.
It's just a witch hunt.

And no, I'm not inferring MC is a witch, just in case someone wants to take offence.
Nothing much has changed with your third incarnation, has it?

No, it wasn't.

You've been on the forum for less than a month; many people who have a long history on EF were outraged, and many of them (including me) have always assumed the best of MC.

No it wasn’t, it was because it was derailing a lovely feel good thread. The post had no place there regardless of who posted it.

You seem to be a bit of an expert considering you only joined in November, who were you before that?

Is this one of those word games where you have to repeat it and add the next part?

I still say aliens. Perhaps driving a Qashqai? While drinking soup.

(please start a new thread for the eating/drinking soup argument)

Oh hush. The thread was a lovely one and that idiotic post ruined it.

Yes, I often do, too.

JagWaugh was a strong man who owned his weaknesses, emotionally intelligent, and who gladly shared his wit, knowledge and well-considered opinions. Many people were helped thanks to his practical tips, and blessed by his presence and manner. A gentleman through and through.

Might as well close this thread down. It's just a mishmash of whatever anyone wants to say atm. It's way off topic and it's pretty obvious whoever was responsible isn't going to explain what happened.
