You still believing that this:

is more offensive than this

"this makes you a serious shit"

Yes, it did. I had a "banned" when trying to log-in.
1. You're doing it again, deliberately misquoting as if to try and engender sympathy. That's not what it said, and you know it. The post is still there if you want to check, just with the offensive word removed,
2. No, as I just said, you were banned around that time, but that ban had expired nearly two weeks before you made that post.
3. Please stop. You asked us to fix something for you, it's fixed. End of story. I already explained why it had fallen through the net previously. We do have other things to do, you know.

Hopefully it's not. Hopefully you AND 22 Yards will start showing at least SOME objectivity.

In respect to last night behavior - can we have the forum without insults? Opinions are ok, calling people names no matter what shape they are in, isn't ok.

Ta.
We had a poster who went off the rails for a bit last night and was inexcusably aggressive. I'd say the forum did quite well in ignoring it as much as possible but I do expect the mods to react appropriately. It goes two ways, MC.

Me too.

I'm waiting for OH to finish his work and in couple of hours we'll have dinner and open a bottle of Chateauneuf-du-Pape.

I purposefully didn’t respond to any of those posts as I’ve seen it all before but I do think the mods could have tidied the thread up a bit and deleted some of the posts, for her sake as much as anybody else’s.

Re: Mod coup?

I'm trying to use the lightest touch possible on this thread because as 3Wishes and others have pointed out, it has effectively become the Really OT space that many have asked for over the years -- and the idea there was to have an unmoderated area. This thread is not the ideal way to supply such a space, but it has become an area for people to let off steam -- much of it directed, fairly or unfairly, at one or more of the mods -- and if it helps keep some aggression off the rest of the forum, that's probably a good thing.

Repeated, untruthful attacks on me or others aren't cool, though. I get a bit fed up with the same lies being repeated over and over again.

Have seen it just now. I think people were quite OK, incredible. But yeah, I agree.

There's kindness on EF too.

ROT existed, invitation only - which is the opposite of unmoderated... and the idea of it was to some members to suck up to Nathu there, the admin at the time...

Surprising some of the people I thought would exploit this thread are more or less absent; maybe it is not fun being contentious in a thread where that is allowed.

I had the same thought. But then again this particular thread has been following a "logic" that even by EF standards has been completely random, so maybe they got tired trying to follow?

Probably all banned due to sensitive forum flowers?

I hear 22 yards and Ace1 have started an online petition to unban V__, is this true?

The only time he was fun was when someone made fun about him being publicly owned, who did it?

Yes, I do.

It has been done in the past when mods have been particularly problematic.

But I don't think they should be removed.

I think they should resign.

They can remain on the forum and post and be treated like everyone else.

Of course, one does wonder about the motives some people have for being moderators. Surely for many it's a way of giving back to the community, for others it's a pastime and I'm sure, for others, it's a compensating power-trip.
Last time I went for walk with a mod earlier this year, they mentioned that it was in exchange to not get banned again. One of the best ever mods on EF.

Yes, it's a relief valve. Sorry, I'm an engineer and I can't help it.

I guess is a good idea to keep this thread alive, where we call each other idiots without moderation, and be civil on the other ones
