I guess I don't really understand why anyone would WANT to be a mod here, in the first place. Doesn't that require a lot of time, and time that you are not paid for?
I stopped being very active on the EF months ago because I was tired of all the bad vibes here and the constant arguing. It's funny how the less you use this place, the less you give a shit about it.
From my perspective, at least, I think that anyone who isn't a mod should consider themselves fortunate, because that means they'll have more time to actually enjoy their life.

In my opinion the whole mod team needed a complete overhaul but this was not the way to do it.

Not any of the pre-existing mods who could theoretically self-delete, so that means that EB must be active if he's been able to process a deletion request so quickly. Great start to being a moderator FMF - and you should know better Ace1. No wonder the mod team is falling apart.
I was asking for permission & got it. I don't see any issue at all.

not to mention that fmf has provided a lot of valuable contributions over the years on EF on a variety of topics including investment, pensions etc. that have helped a lot of people.
