I didn't see that single post. As others have said, one post isn't hounding.
There are no others - there is one. One that didn't know understand the meaning of the term "hounding".

It wasn't personally insulting. It was pretty factual.
Did you find the tone of the post respectful ? Note the vulgarity used.
It's also not factual but subjective - plenty of members think she's doing a fine job - especially putting up with some of the abuse.

Re: Misogyny on EF? Let's discuss

MC has toned it down just like I have. However, her fans are made up of mainly male posters who appreciate her style and views. FMF has attempted to bridge the divisiveness that still is apparent on this board. In many ways, it often feels as if our debates are male vs female, with a few genders crossing the line. The loss of many frustrated posters has definitely affected the liberal-leaning tendency it had and has moved the board to become a more conservative forum.

Now these kind of remarks should be removed from the board. Itís not only mysogynist, but also insulting to women and men who side with women.

How is it mysognist if it's against some men ??

It's a commonly observed trope that many famous male feminists end up being accused of sexual crimes against women.

By "fans" you mean people who oppose your view - sometimes with stats and logic that you dismiss and frequently use insults when that fails.

It might feel that way to you but to me i couldn't care less what your gender , skin colour or nationality is on the board.

My position and that of many others is that of the classical liberal - one who wishes to spend their resources that I/we generate without coercion from the state. Where that coercion exists to point out where it's misallocation of resources has failed in the past so that the same failures can be avoided going forwards.

This is how I interpret Vushkaís comment:

1) Women who donít agree with Vushka are feminists.
2) Men who agree with feminists are creeps.

We donít need that kind of discrimination on this board.

Imagine 50 years ago if it had not been possible to state an opinion that women should be given with equal rights to vote, jobs, pay etc. People have always had differing opinions & it's very dangerous to restrict free speech.
Free speech & alternative views have been important in improving the lives of many people.

There's an ethical code for internet forums. It includes promoting a gender perspective and equality between women and men in the electronic media. Calling men who support feminists "creeps" oversteps the line.

I have no idea which mods do what.
How do "plenty of members think she is doing a fine job?" know what she, and the other mods actually do?

Re: Misogyny on EF? Let's discuss

A big part of the problem here is that somebody always has to be right, there's no debate, no opinions, it always has to be black or white, with evidence and source, my source is better than your source etc etc. Or else it just turns personal.

I can't say yes or no to misogyny really since i don't bother to read most of the tedious threads in detail and when i do, i generally read the content first and not who wrote it .. There's the next issue here, many people just focus on the author and will agree/disagree parrot fashion with whatever they say, just because they like/dislike the author.

So there

Thankyou for elucidating the way you see his comments.

How did you derive 1) ? He doesn't refer to women at all.

Also I've agreed with you now and then - do you think he considers me a feminist?

Wrong. What it promotes is cancel culture and misandry.
