I have thanked multiple posts you have made & also given you greenies.
I thank / rep content regardless of the author.

But you agree it goes on - as you thanked John's post. Or is it just a certain group you think does it?

I have no idea which mods do what.
How do "plenty of members think she is doing a fine job?" know what she, and the other mods actually do?
It doesn't matter how they reached that opinion - they hold it - and have posted that opinion - in contrast to Chuff's post yesterday - in a respectful manner.

I think it does. It's either an opinion based on some facts - or they've made it up.

If the former, I suppose there could be a lot of PMs going on in the background.

If the latter, then it's probably got nothing to do with her moderating but her posting.

Imagine 50 years ago if it had not been possible to state an opinion that women should be given with equal rights to vote, jobs, pay etc. People have always had differing opinions & it's very dangerous to restrict free speech.
Free speech & alternative views have been important in improving the lives of many people.
they're human rights. E basta.

Over the last 50 years many countries have changed, still plenty of places that don't give women equal rights, those countries don't take kindly to women who object.
Censorship is dangerous

There's an ethical code for internet forums. It includes promoting a gender perspective and equality between women and men in the electronic media. Calling men who support feminists "creeps" oversteps the line.
Here's Gad Saad - Lebanese Jewish refugee Professor of Evolutionary Biology on the obvious contradictions on diversity , inclusion & equality.

Quote:
At the root of the DIE religion is the unflappable and irrational belief that societies must exhibit equality of outcomes on every possible human endeavor. When this cancerous objective is not met, it is presumed that the sole possible explanation is institutionalized bigotry. Of course, people with functioning brains recognize that most complex phenomena are multifactorial in their causes. In other words, a disparity in outcomes is likely caused by a large number of factors of which institutionalized bigotry might be absent from such a list. For the readers interested in the pernicious effects of the DIE religion and its attack on the meritocratic ethos, please read The Parasitic Mind: How Infectious Ideas Are Killing Common Sense.

With that in mind, let’s apply the “liberating” framework of the DIE religion to a broad range of phenomena. You’ll note that there is nothing in my satirical take that violates the central tenet of the DIE cult.
Quote:
4. Jews, despite their very small global population, are extraordinarily overrepresented as Nobel prize winners. Clearly, this must be some Zionist plot that keeps people from Yemen from winning the Nobel Prize more often. Not a single winner from Namibia? Why the bigotry, Stockholm bigots? Why?
He has also expounded on why such diversity and inclusion "ethics" led directly to the persecution of his family and the lebanese civil war.

MC has toned it down just like I have. However, her fans are made up of mainly male posters who appreciate her style and views. FMF has attempted to bridge the divisiveness that still is apparent on this board. In many ways, it often feels as if our debates are male vs female, with a few genders crossing the line. The loss of many frustrated posters has definitely affected the liberal-leaning tendency it had and has moved the board to become a more conservative forum.
TBH: I believe that many female posters (am female) stopped contributing to this site due to your MC “war” explanation. MC used to be really good - sometimes inspirational - and of course sometimes irritating - aren’t we all ?

I, personally, got fed-up with all your red blobs for just delivering good, healthy info.

Good to know.
Really, I welcomed you to the site, when I thought that your profile at that time showed a strong woman, potentially with a migration background. And I gave you lots of green blobs.

But, it‘s been quite hard to put up with all your red blobs, on also the most harmless, informative (isn’t that why we’re here) posts. That my preferences in life don‘t match with yours, is completely irrelevant. But I do miss having this harmless ‚banter‘ on-line due to the hostility of posters like you.

Except I didn't call "men who support feminists creeps", I said that most male feminists tend to be creeps.

Stop trying to control what other people think and post, you'll probably enjoy the Internet more.

I've been accused by a few members on this forum of such behavior. The thing that many don't get is that I and many many other couldn't care less whether you have a penis or a vagina, I disagree with your opinion, not with your sex.
