ps. EF doesn't tolerate excessive or trollish use of the delete function.

With the exception of moderators, of course.

Just curious, what constitutes "trollish use"?

Posting insults or graphic images and deleting them im the hope that the mods don't notice. General posting-before-thinking. You get the idea.

I tried to delete some old posts in for sale section but it seems all I can do is edit them. What am I doing wrong?

Just to be sure, you don't get a delete option in a box on top of the text box in advanced mode? (The "physically delete" option is only for mods)

You definitively have enough posts for the right to edit and delete. Maybe it's the age of the message. If the problem persists, you can report the post and a mod will delete or close the thread.
