Re: How to close a Thread?

Not everything is about drama...

And yes, I am done too. Same thing, same game which finish the same way... As usual. Congratulation.

I don't mean to be rude but then this thread should satisfy the need for drama here than more serious elsewhere

It's threads like this that drive me elsewhere with a toe still dipped in here for nostalgic reasons
I really wanted to stay out of this, but from what I saw in one particular forum elsewhere was that nobody seems to post much, the latest posts are months old and it's a terrible bore, thanks, but no thanks, I prefer the epic threads, gossip, drama around here, at least this forum is alive.

exactly my point, some people require different things on different days

Many are in uproar about the mods actions here and complain elsewhere is dull - well then they are happier here with the mods actions causing non stop drama to keep them involved and entertained - they should be praising the mods for their continued entertainment value

If I was a mod I would have nuked this thread, and dozens more like it, a long time ago..... and would probably be waving my very big banning stick at the same time.
Are we back on the topic of penises again?

Re: How to close a Thread?

Willy willy booby boobs, penis schlong weiner. Titties titty nobby nob, bottom bum vagina.

Will that get this thread closed? Please?

OT: we have had rather detailed discussions about female circumcision, sex toys at kindergarten with the pictures to explain it and far more graphic threads than the ones that were closed recently. Maybe the mods were a bit heavy handed but seriously? Nine pages of outrage.....a tad OTT IMHO but each to their own.

The one where some cousins of some posters post.

Not so very much disguised, I might add. Like I would be MacGregor's Son.

Boob!

I mean, word!

But anyways, what I don't really get is when things get heated, people start comparing fora. It feels unnecessary. I feel there is no need to pitch a group of folks against another. Wherever people to decide to camp out that day..

Re: How to close a Thread?

The funny thing is I've listened to more about breast implants in the last couple of weeks on the News and current affairs programmes of a respected National radio station than I have in the rest of my life.

With this in mind, the breast implant thread really should have stayed as it's current news.

If it's good enough for the BBC, it's good enough for EF.

Re: How to close a Thread?

I very much share your view here. Considering the current event of the faulty breast implants, I found the thread absolutelly legit and extremely relevant and have no understanding what so ever for the fact that it was closed. I have to accept it yes, but I don't understand or approve of it being closed.

OK, since you don't like my idea of trying it elswhere, how about this: we create an area here called Really Off Topic and have it restricted to certain members of the forum. That couldn't possibly create any problems at all now, could it.

I agree with this too. And I was surprised at how big a news story the faulty breast implants has become. I am shocked that so many women have felt the need to have cosmetic surgery and for sure there is a really interesting discussion to have about why that is. The threads in question can't possibly be defended on those grounds though, ya think? Most of the boobie posters said themselves it was all just a bit of fun.

Re: How to close a Thread?

I can't speak for the OP, but when I saw the thread first appear, I clearly made a connection to the current event. I find it quite natural that when you read about something like that, you start thinking about why someone decidedes to go through such a procedure in the first place.

The fact that the thread then was spinning off in different directions is absolutelly normal and happens all the time regardless of original intent of a thread-start.

I strongly recommend buying one of these Bras before opting for surgery. I bought myself some in the summer and nearly every one of my friends thought I'd had a boob job.
