What is the limit of rep points per day please?

I've just been told that I've handed out enough green rep within the past 24 hours and now have to wait until I can do so again ...
Not to a particular person but in general that is.

Is there a fixed limit per day? How many is that? Thanks.

It is not only about green rep. If you gave out too much green rep, you cannot red rep either!

It's not a question of how much rep, but to how many people - and not per day, but per 24 hours.

Not meant to hijack the thread, but how many rep points make a new blob? I notice after receiving multiple reps I still have the same number of blobbies, which is no big deal, but it makes me curious how it all works...

I think it depends on the reputation of the giver.

No this isn't true:

Power is as follows (AFAIK)

Default reputation: 10
Every 180 days you gain 1 point of reputation-altering power
For every 150 posts you gain 1 point of reputation-altering power
You get an extra point of reputation-altering power for every 20 points of reputation.
You must have 20 posts before you can affect other reputations
You must have 10 reputation points before you can affect other reputations
You can give or take reputation 3 times in any 24 period
You cannot give or take reputation from the same person twice, unless you have altered reputation for at least 5 other people in the meantime.

As far as blobbies are concerned I know that over 200 it's 6, over 100 it's 5. You should be able to work them all out with this
