Re: EF is broken

We had some server problems this morning.

The site was mostly offline from 9am to 10.40am.

It should be fixed now, however.

I'm not getting any errors at the moment. If you are, can you say which pages?

Re: EF is broken

Also noticed this a few times in the last week.

Either no content returned (blank page/no HTML) or that there is a DB error.

Time to cull some users (or inline/animated images at least)

Re: EF is broken

Seems to be going up and down like a yo-yo for me. It works OK for a few minutes, then I get the DB error message for a minute or so - generally when I click on the header bar to go to the front page.

Re cache - did already. At one point I had feared that our company had blocked the site...

Re: EF is broken

Did the revenue from the adverts go towards server upgrades or a new coffee machine for the staff kitchen?

No, it went on an iPAD as the prize for an online survey.

I think there's still a problem. The quality of posts this morning is terrible.
