EF Events Calendar for Google Calendar / iPhone /other devices

Having long wished for a way of viewing the EF events calendar on other services or devices and having made informal requests to the people that make the software that EF runs on (I also run a small forum not EF related) to no avail.

I have made an "unofficial" feed of the "next 2 weeks" of events that have been posted on both the EF calenders.

The format is .ics and I have tested it with both google calender:



(Basic Instructions : click this link to subscribe: http://www.google.com/calendar/rende.../events.ics?ef to add the calender or use these instructions on subscribed calendars on google)

and the Apple iPhone:

The feed URL is http://cm7.ch/ef/events.ics

Provided without any guarantees and while I have tested with the 2 options above I make no further guarantees, but I am sure it works with other .ics services/devices. This feed also has no official links to EF or the people own or run EF. I wrote the code that makes the calendar feed for my own use, but thought I would share with others.

Good idea Pat. You may want to edit your pics slightly though, as your full name is showing on a couple of them. May or may not be a problem for you...

Hi,

it works well in Outlook as well. All you have to do is open an internet calendar from within in Outlook and provide the url (http://cm7.ch/ef/events.ics)

Just a small addition to the events feed above (based on a request ).

A "Social Events" only calendar feed can now be found at:

http://cm7.ch/ef/social.ics?ef

It should be the same as the other one, but contain only social events and not commercial events. The instructions are the same as above - just change the feed URL if you only want social events

Once again it is provided without any guarantees. This feed also has no official links to EF or the people own or run EF. I wrote the code that makes the calendar feed for my own use, but thought I would share the end result with others.
