Hi JOG,

Go to the list of forums (click "Forums" at the top of the page), click on the one you want to start a thread on and look for the "New Thread" button on that page.

If you click "New Thread" but then get a message saying you're not allowed, it's probably because you are in one of the Marketplace sections and don't have permission to post there yet. Check the announcements thread at the top of any of these sections for more details.

Why is it that some people, instead of starting a NEW thread choose to revive one from 2008, add something at the bottom and then get unsuspecting people [i.e. me] to reply to the original person making themselves look like total twats. Is it a new hobby?

[Now looking like total loon having answered to a post from 2008 about first aid courses ]

deutschmaad would like to thank you for this useful post.
( Have lost the thank button, cannot thank anyone. )

Nah, it is just because her post is from a while ago, and after a certain period, posts lose their Thank, Groan buttons.
