What is your Christmas or Holiday Wish?

This time of year can be really great or really not, depending on your outlook. Being new to this country with all my family and friends far away, it's been daunting trying to get motivated for the holidays. I decided it was time for tree trimming and some good old fashioned Christmas music to help get the festive juices flowing. Now the lights are blinking, the first package is wrapped and my closest friend called to say she will be here next weekend to spend Christmas and NYE in Zurich!! I'm giddy. My wish has been granted.

What is your Christmas or Holiday wish?

Re: What is your Christmas or Holiday Wish?

My wish is to be in Switzerland for the holiday. Due to the unrealistic flight prices for the few days that I can get away it doesn't look like happening.

Hope I can get away somewhere so that the break doesn't become several days of eating & drinking too much, watching TV and doing nothing constructive. There is nothing wrong with some of that but it is easy to suddenly realise that a whole week as passed with nothing to show for it.

I'd really really like to see my family all together, that would be the sweetest gift.
