Ummm, we are talking about Eastenders, so how can the storyline ever be too far fetched?

Characters keep reappearing after having had a head transplant - Ben being the latest example. So perhaps we will see the return of other past characters, dead or alive, with other people's heads on them??

hmmmmm...so a mix of Ethel and Pauline for a start ...Paulines Body for her frying pan swinging skills..and Ethel's head for her wittisicm

Then i wouldn't mind seeing the blue eyes of Martin Kemp again as Steve Owen,,,,,,but I wouldn't want to spoil such a fit bloke by cutting him up and mixing him say with Hapless Barry

and so on and so forth ))))

And apparently she then swaps it for Tommy - who is Alfie and Kats new screaming little bundle of joy.

With hilarious consequences

Edit:
I watch/read about 10mins of Eastenders a year. From those 10 minutes I can pretty much work out that nothing ever happens. Janine is still a scheming viscious "Because It is Tuesday.CH" - Billy is still hapless - Ronnie is the female Billy - someone will be shagging someone they shouldn't - Ian will do his best to screw up the relationship he has with someone who loves him - and Phil will be addicted to something - drugs, booze, violence, mono-syllabic words, the Vic will have been decorated to look exactly like the Vic. And the "Square" will ring out to the dolcette tones of RICKAY

hahaha, how true! I must say that I'm probably not the most avid watcher, but I do watch it when I can, and I enjoy it every time, the fact that you can miss a few episodes and still suss out the plot it's a big plus in my view ;p

Looks like the baby swap story line is not going down too well. Aunty beeb has had over 3400 complaints about it: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12110324

It's also a story line full of holes:

Didn't anyone take pictures in the hospital of the new-born babies. The rest of the world do, but on Eastenders not one, but two babies are born and after 24 hours no pictures were taken of either so they all forgot what they looked like :msncrazy

Won't a post mortem on the baby (and recent news from the UK states that there are more autopsies than in any other country http://news.bbc.co.uk/today/hi/today...00/9335557.stm) show with a simple blood test let alone DNA one, whose child it is.

I bet there are more holes too...

way more holes for sure. Ronnie's baby had a club foot & kat's didn't. Kat even realised the dead baby was not hers. I am sure more will come.

Yeah, saw that bit, but not the start of the next episode. So god knows how she went from "that's not my baby" to making funeral arrangements with Alfie..... How did that happen?

Alfie told her that the baby looked different now it was dead & as she hardly spent any time with him she beleived Alfie. I think he is going to be in trouble when she finds out the truth.

p.s. I know I am a sad cow even discussing this especially as I normally watch about 10 episodes a year

*******************SPOILER ALERT *******************

Grin,,,okeee...i have to admit the storyline sounds a tad far fetched for me as i have got kids and i doubt someone could have done this to me,especially after i had my kiddies a few days already ....................but from the spoilers i have read online apparently Ronnies baby will die of sudden infant death syndrome.... which is already tragic enough...but then when she goes to the Vic with her child . everyone is celebrating downstairs and Ronnie hears Kat's baby crying over the monitor and then decideds to swap the babies ....and according to further spoilers online.....there is a funeral Alfie wil have to organise ....

that's what i was talking about.....

.....and in tonight's episode (which might include Max's accident as well) Ronnie's finally coming clean with the swap, mid April, took a while didn't it?

Indeedy do

I am glad it comes to an end ......plot was unbelievable like this but i got to admit well acted by Sam Janus ( Ronnie Branning- Mitchell) ...now they say Kat will have some bonding troubles with Tommy...well ..I would have an' all,if i grieved for my dead child and then it turns out it's still alive....
