Fast food propaganda: the reality

Some guy has taken pictures of actual fast food compared to the pictures.

Something for the fast food haters amongst us... or the apologists...
Not that I'm trying to start another fast food fight

Re: Fast food propaganda: the reality

This is something that I have been saying to hubby since a while. What they sell you and what you really get is really far away of each other...

Re: Fast food propaganda: the reality

Does anyone really expect to receive a burger etc that looks like the ones advertised on TV, in stores on boxes etc?

I've never had a ready meal come out like it shows on the packet or received a Kebab like the one shown in the menu. My Pizza's never have the amount of pepperoni as shown in the leaflets........

I personally have never had a BK come out like that. Maybe he should try a new fast food outlet

He has wayyyy to much time on his hands

TBH all food companies ( and I guess cosmetic companies) spend ages setting up the ideal for photo shoots.
BK and McDs do both run "Gold Standards" for Icon products. The one on the right would be a good example!!

Do you think the end product of what you order in a Japanese takeaway comes looking like that too?
Fake food display is huge in Asia - no difference from highly photoshopped food pictures in fast food restaurants or even foodie magazines.

Just cos it doesn't look pretty doesn't mean it tastes like shit ...
TBH the consumers of Maccy Dees and BK must like the taste rather than the visual .

Same could be said about some sexual practices

I dunno about the rest of ya'll but if Whoppers really were as big as shown on the left, there's no way I could get it in my mouth!

(A new BK is opening near Pathé in a few days here in Basel, now that my gallbladder is gone and so I don't have to fear developing an agonizing evening wishing for quick death, I may just pop in and grab a Whopper Jr and fries. )
