My work colleague just strolled by and she weighs in at about the equivalent of a light-weight truck. Nevertheless, she was wearing heels and her head moved horizontally with every step she took (picture a pidgeon). Now, I could see that she was struggling...as a matter of fact, not only she..but the heels and the anklette were hanging on for dear life while she floated by oh so gracefully towards the cafeteria. Why would she do this to herself....?
Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against heavy set people...nor do I ridicule someones sense for fashion, but I believe that one must know his/her limitations with what he/she can get away with. End of Monday Morning observation.

Maybe she likes them. (My favorite shoes aren't the most comfortable pair I own either... must be a chick thing.)

Certainly, but your heel tips don't need to support the weight of the world. I understand that one can like a certain accessory, shoe, piece of clothing whilst not being the most comfy one....but having to go through excruciating pain on a Monday morning (for no particular reason)...is beyond me.

I have couple of very large relatives (Australian size 20-24) who have the most enormous collections of shoes I have ever seen! They wear high heels and fixate on the shoes (and makeup) because shoes always fit whereas buying clothing is often difficult.

And don't all women wear heels for the same reason? We wear them because they make us feel sexy, lift our butts and give us a wiggle . Maybe she needed the perk up (it is Monday after all!)

Yes, yes...but i could see it on her , that this "perk up" wasn't working....I mean, she had the "%&ç*! I should have worn ballerinas" look on her face.

I know that look! I get it every time I wear 'that' pair of shoes. They're gorgeous and I love them for the first 2 hours but after that it takes copious amounts of alcohol to numb the pain

I'm sure thats why big handbags were invented. Its so that later in the night we can discreetly head to the ladies and return 5 inches shorter

If men were to wear heels, we'd make em comfy or don't wear them at all...as simple as that...but none of us would carry around a big bag to put spares in it.

Heels improve people's posture, maybe she is getting too much of it, but who do you know she is trying to impress, maybe there is a secret admirer, ya know? So, aside of that sexy tension we get, muscle pull, tighter butt and calves, one treads more carefully and is more in control of the body moves..Her next step could be hitting the gym, for what you know.

Heels are good, let her live. They are the best on the stage, to be honest. When one is tripping over all those cables and trying to focus on the strings, still, never ever without them, hahaha...
