What advice would you give your 15yr old self?

If you could travel back in time?

Re: What advice would you give your 15yr old self?

Take Spanish instead of Japanese.

Advice my father actually offered - and to which I refused to listen - at the time. Now I never use the Japanese (and haven't since I was 18) but between then and now have had many occasions where (my extremely limited) Spanish has come in handy, even here sometimes with my m-i-l as her 2nd language is Italian and sometimes it is close enough to help us figure each other out.

Re: What advice would you give your 15yr old self?

1) Take driving lessons ASAP on reaching the age to do so, especially if the parents offer to pay for them. That was foolishly refused (talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth) and was never offered to me again . When I did learn, every time I shelled out for lessons, I silently cursed myself for that!

2) Travel extensively before getting married.

Re: What advice would you give your 15yr old self?

I think this is a totally meaningless question. We cannot go back in time or change the past.

It would be far more relevant to consider "What can I change now to make my future better?"

become a banker/hedge fund manager and retire at 23. also, you don't get any points for not shagging various girls when you have the opportunity - though maybe you want to wear a condom with Miss --redacted--.
