I will be going to London for a few days next weekend and am hoping to make a shopping run in my spare time. I am looking to stock up on some stuff while I am there (Peanut butter, French's mustard..etc)

I don't think you have a problem finding a supermarket around that area, the main ones are Sainsbury's and Tesco's and then you have the more upmarket Waitrose.

Can anyone recommend a good pub and nice restaurant

I was at Paddington some years ago and if I remember correctly there is a Shopping mall with a movie theater near there. What is the name of it?

Hiya - The shopping centre you are talking about sounds like Whiteleys - It has a cinema upstairs and is round the corner from Paddington - Also there is a Waitrose next to this that would be ideal for your shop (on Porchester Road).

Would highly recommend the restaurant in the ground floor of Whiteleys also called Le Cafe Anglais (http://www.lecafeanglais.co.uk/).

Not surprisingly the best pubs are normally not close to the train station but not too far away from here you could go to my favourite pub in London - The Cow on Westbourne Park road (short walk or cab ride)....
