..so hold on, you moved in with another guy while being with your now husband?
Correct - although beforehand I told my now husband that either he gives himself a shove.... or I would.

they went to draw up his will and it read "everything to my wife". No prenup BS, no "not sure how long this is going to last"..nothing, just play ol' love.
He's dead now, of course.

In a way it may be romantic, but to me it is more like sign of your generosity

Re: Most Romantic thing you've done or heard someone do for their partner?

Not sure if others would find it romantic but it meant a lot to me, when this girl, after finding out I was dating a new girl, send me this message "I can share you with your (reguler) gf but not with the new girl"

Never in my life I felt so loved and so much warmth.

Hand made Valentines cards covered in hearts and bees drawn in felt tip pen.

Cards?

Yes, I made two and hedged my bets.

I was five years old and I liked both Karen and Madeleine, who were in my class.

Re: Most Romantic thing you've done or heard someone do for their partner?

Well, my hubby just bought me a totally unprovoked and unexpected diamond ring for my birthday (my 40th and yes, OK I was feeling a bit old and down about it) because "well you didn't have a diamond before [my engagement ring is a sapphire that I chose] and I love you". He chose it himself, got the right size and I absolutely love it

The most romantic part is that He chose it himself, got the right size.

Congratulations!!

Getting the size right is no big deal. Just get hold of one of your gf's ring and try it on your own fingers. This will give you a very good idea of your gf's size and rest is just a pretty good excuse to spend some quality time with one of those hot looking shop assistants at the jewellers.

öhm, the doves were a little too much...
Romance is nice, but overdoing it can be quite scary. I freaked out when an ex dragged up his guitar, song a song he wrote about me while looking me in the eyes. Too much for me. Few roses would have been enough.

So seriously you discuss them with people you don't know, on an Internet Forum? You shouldn't grumble too much if people rib you.
