| | Best Movie Endings Ever
After watching An Interview with a Vampire earlier today, my wife remarked that it was a great ending.
LeStat wearing a leather jacket over his old lace shirt driving a Mustang listening to the Stones "Sympathy for the Devil".
So I saw her IwaV and raised her the end of Planet of the Apes (original of course).
Any other suggetsions?
This is for the very last scenes of a movie only..

'The Skeleton Key' had a pretty awesome ending! Really cool...other than that, 'The Others' was great.
Absolutely love a twist at the end of a story It's great when you just can't predict it, and you end up with a shock...

I know it's not a film, but rather a TV series... but the ending to the second series of Nighty Night (a little-known dark comedy) is the best ending I've ever seen to a series or a film. If you like your comedy very, very dark, then I highly recommend watching it.

Star Wars, the first shown one, the greatest triumphant ending.

For dramatic tension, and excellent marriage with the music, you can't really beat the spaghetti westerns of Sergio Leone, with the accompanying soundtracks from Ennio Morricone. Although not always the final scene, it is always the films' climatic ending. It's difficult to choose but either of the following: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlbB1...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5V6Ns...layer_embedded
For final, final endings, how about Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, or The Italian Job (original)

"The sixth sense" - Finding out that Dr. Malcolm Crowe was actually dead took me by surprise.
"The butterfly effect" - I loved the ending when Evan walks by a happy Kayleigh, it's one of these bittersweet movie moments.

The first Saw movie had a great twist at the end.
For thought provoking endings I would say 28 Days Later, that made me sit and think for a while. Especially about who you could actually trust in a situation such as that.

What Dreams May Come
The ending was just really nice, as was the whole film.

Also, the ending of "Unbearable Lightness of being."
And "vanilla sky." I like that english guy, who is also the manager in "almost famous."

Have to agree, both endings were fantastic. The Butterfly Effect is very special | Quote: | | | | | "The sixth sense" - Finding out that Dr. Malcolm Crowe was actually dead took me by surprise.

I just remembered seeing a film called "Carrie" with Sissy Spacek and the end made me jump out of my skin |
