He wouldn't do that round our house if my wife was home in bed. Well he might do it once and then he'd have difficulty doing anything for a while! That's a sacred time....
..tell me about! I remember when my bball buddies used to wake me up at 7am to play ball...but pre 5am showing up at door wakeup call sure is something else.

My question is: In the movie Chinatown with Jack Nicholson, they referred to summer colds a few times....meaning, that there were some characters who had a cold and then (usually Jack) would say "Yeah, summer colds are supposedly the worst..". I never really under stood this repeated mentioning of a summmer cold. Now, were summer colds a real issue back then? Was it bad screen writing? Or was there a secret meaning behind that?
I does believe, I do, that it's a sarcastic reference to the inintentional irony in a much-loved sympathy saying in the 13 colonies, namely that "there's nothing worse than a summer cold". Always cracked me up when I heard it. Anyway, that's what I does believe.

Movie: Point Break
Question: Why is Patrick Swayze waking up so early all the time? Was he an early bird..were his crew a bunch of early birds too?
No choice if you're a real Surfer Dude - the the waves are best-shaped and break cleanly when there's an sea breeze (i.e an offshore breeze) blowing against them, and these typically occur early in the morning when the land's still cold relative to the sea. As the sun heats the land up, the wind direction reverses, the breeze blows with the waves, and the wave shape all goes all to pot
