Suggestions on UK short term lets...

We have to go on a trip to the UK for passport/visa biz. Will be there about a month. I have looked into "London Short term Lets" - anyone have experience with them? Or any other companies they trust? Or any other suggestions? I am on gumtree - but a little hesitant as I know there are a lot of "fake" ads on gumtree these days. Many thanks, in advance. L

Do you have to be in London? I know a place 1 hour direct from StPancras, in Market Harborough, 2 bedrooms, 1 double+en suite, 1 twin + family bathroom.
pm for more info.

Try marlin apartments.com, they have several locations mostly east of the centre. I stayed in canary wharf a couple of years ago and some family tried limehouse, they were nice and reasonable value (at that time).

I don't need to be in London - St Pancras sounds fine - though it sounds a bit big for us.

I'll check the marlin apartments - thanks! :) L

I don't know any specific companies, but one option I've pursued in various cities around the world, is straightforward holiday apartments. Just in case you've not considered that option.
