tulip gardens in the Netherlands

Its spring time (well almost)
My first spring in europe and am pretty excited. But my crazy university schedule doesn allow me to just run away and look around. So just want to try the 'known' attraction, the tulip gardens in netherlands. Just wanted to ask as to what would be the best(read economical) way to visit those during the week of easter for 3-4 days. For some one less than 25 years, willing to travel in air, land or water :P staying in hostels etc..
actually more concerned for how to travel, the air fares have gone steep. was wondering if interrail pass is the way to go.. suggestions, comments ?

Re: tulip gardens

Try to find a ride. A lot of Dutch people are driving home for Easter & Queens day. Also, you can try bus company Eurolines, or normal trains (city nightline is expensive).

Re: tulip gardens

If it's only the tulips that draw you to the Netherlands - you can have it in your neighbourhood as well. There's the yearly tulip festival in Morges and it's stunning:
