| | Charlie Sheen....
Well,
as I was searching the threads this morning (10:46 AM), a friend of mine sent me a link to Charlie Sheen's recent comments. Now if you haven't heard about Charlie Sheen's public meltdown I wanted to illustrate some of the statements he has made on interviews. These statements come after Charlie was caught repeatedly with prostitutes and cocaine after falling out with his show "Two and a Half Men" and his recent divorce. I have included some of the statements Charlie made on interviews, however the list is not exhaustive and I would invite further quotes and links:
"I am on a drug. It's called Charlie Sheen. It's not available. If you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body." ("20/20.")
"I probably took more than anybody could survive. ... I was bangin' seven-gram rocks and finishing them because that's how I roll, because I have one speed, one gear. ... I'm different. I have a different constitution, I have a different brain, I have a different heart. I got tiger blood, man. Dying's for fools, dying's for amateurs." ("20/20.")
"It's perfect. It's awesome. Every day is just filled with just wins. All we do is put wins in the record books. We win so radically in our underwear before our first cup of coffee, it's scary. People say it's lonely at the top, but I sure like the view." ("20/20.")
"You've read about the goddesses, come on. They're an international sensation. These are my girlfriends. These are the women that I love that have completed the three parts of my heart. ... It's a polygamy story. All my guy friends are gonna like throw tomatoes at me. It's like an organic union of the hearts." ("20/20.")
On why he won't get married again: "I tried marriage. I'm 0 for 3 with the marriage thing. So, being a ballplayer -- I believe in numbers. I'm not going 0 for 4. I'm not wearing a golden sombrero." ("20/20.") Thoughts on the fact that people think he is Bi-Polar: "Wow, what does that mean? And then what? What's the cure? Medicine? Make me like them? Not gonna happen. I'm bi-winning, I win here and I win there. Now what?" "You borrow my brain for 5 seconds and you'd just be like 'dude can't handle it! Unplug this bastard!' Because it fires in a way that is, um, I don't know, maybe not from this particular terestrial realm." "Dying's for fools. There are certain blends that I will not entertain because that's how people go down and I'm too smart to do that. I'm sorry for the guys that happened to, ya know, but you should have read the directions before you showed up to the party." "What's not to love? Especially when you see how I party, man it was epic. The run I was on made Sinatra, Flynn, Jagger, Richards, all of them just look like, ya know, droopy eyed armless children." |

He's an entertainer.. and thats entertaining. I would be far more concerned if he was the Leader of a Nuclear Power.

| | Mister Sheen....
I was always impressed about the way he could shine umpteen things clean.
Though clearly he himself does not figure in that "umpteen"...

Here are some more pearls of wisdom that Charlie has bestowed upon us:
" I have spent close to the past decade effortlessly and magically turning your tin cans into pure gold."
" They lay down with their ugly wives in front of their ugly children and just look at their loser lives and then they look at me and say, I can't process it."
" Most of the time and this includes naps - I'm an F-18 bro, and I will destroy you in the air and deploy my ordance to the ground."
"Rhymes with winning? That would be us. Sorry, man, didn't make the rules."

Here is a final one :
“I’m tired of pretending like I’m not special, I’m tired of pretending like I’m not bitching, a total fricking rock star from Mars, and people can’t figure me out; they can’t process me. I don’t expect them to. You can’t process me with a normal brain.”

I wish he had compered the Oscars, it was a travesty of American backlicking. My mind was screaming 'Ricky Gervais, where are you in our hour or two of need.' Anyway Charlie was on the Piers Morgan show tonight. I am glad that he had a go at the TV showtime therapists. I find Drew Pinsky and Dr Phil really creepy, creeper than Charlie. He was wasted on the 2 and 1/2 men, he needs to do a movie-before he burns out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h5aSa...eature=related

He should learn from the masters. Once you've played with drugs, sex and sensation and then discover the joy of tea, you'll never go back. Heck, I'm drinking some now. |

I'm really not sure why this is such big news...
He's just another celebrity whose success and other assorted drugs went to his head. Now he's an attention whore, crying for help.
Having said that, I thought he was really good in Two & a half men. When he's not on screen, he could hump monkeys for all I care...

I just heard that he has been invited to Haiti by Sean Penn.
Tea is the one habit that I have never been able to kick, I have a 6-8 travel mug size a day habit.
