Just read a book about it and I was curious to know if some of you did know this particular way.

Electroculture is the stimulation of the growth of the plants by electric means.

I prefer the Swiss way - lots of horse manure and good home-made compost

This is how it is in my garden:

- the stuff you don't want to grow (i.e. weeds) grow even when you try to stop them; and
- the stuff you want to grow well/quickly, pleases it self what it does, immaterial of any interaction from me.

And when you get fed up you just pave the whole thing.
