Luxury haircut in Paris - suggestions please

The hairdressers in Switzerland are....not so creative or glamorous

Anyone know any special/famous/glamorous/ hairdressers in Paris? I'm going there and want to find a hairdresser - price isn't a problem

Most of them are entirely too 'creative' if you ask me. Oo, let's put highlights in. Then more highlights. Oops, too many highlights. Let's cut some of them off. But only on one side. Are you sure you wouldn't like a nice zigzag parting? Would cover up some of these extra highlights...

It really depends what sort of hairdo you want anyway - you need to find a stylist whose fashion sense agrees with yours. Maybe you'd be better asking on a Parisian forum, and giving some pictures of the sort of 'look' that appeals to you.

There used to be one in Place Victor Hugo when i worked there that was pretty popular. I cannot for the life of me remember whether it was Jacques Dessange or one of those - try googling there

Try Salon Bonaparte, i believe they even won for "the best Salon in Paris " last year.

LE SALON BONAPARTE

19 rue Bonaparte
75006 Paris
+33 1 43 29 19 19

Ask for Jean-Claude ,Seb,Stephane or Bruno..its will cost you but you only get the best of the best.

Booking up front is a must do as they don't take in walk in customers of the street.

A haircut will set you back 150 - 250 Euro's but what good is money when you are death.. live a little, spend allot

If you have money to spend but don't want to travel, and you like the sinead o'conner look, i can come over with my clippers, shout random words like " croissant, baguette ,foie gras " and cut your hair while talking with a french accent.... its the same feeling and you will look lovely

On a serious note, when you are in Paris and you splurged out on your hairdo, go and show it off in Chez Max, THE coffee house in Paris.

Have fun

Joseph

You can contact Bron at "L'Heure" Style: www.bronlheurestyle.fr. He's not a hairdresser but presents himself as a Hair Concept Artist. Good luck with your inquiry!
