What is up with your 3 letter user names?

Only 1 person should be allowed a 3 letter user name that starts with a J, and that would be our one and only J.L-P!
What have you against 3 letter usernames?

Next paragraph I elaborated more - I hope I was able to clarify what I meant.

"I don't see this as a place to be judged or called an A-Hole or not looking into the search option (if it's their first post) for having an opinion. If you don't have anything to say except negative uncoherent BS then stop getting into the DISCUSSION. Most people get judged enough based on their beliefs, race, color, origin, religion etc outside of the EF from time to time and the last thing they need is some TROLL telling them stupid BS."
I missed out at that one,now I am upset Grrrrrrrrr

Not bad

It is like the only soldier who goes left while all the others go right and he call them the idiots... Priceless.
That might well be the truth Nil, but imagine it is 1935, you surely would be proud of your nicely ironed SS uniform getting ready for Nuremburg, would I still be the idiot if I was on the first train to Zürich?

There is a wonderful book about that topic, by Lenz:
The German lesson - Siegfried Lenz
(orginal title: Die Deutschstunde).

I can only recommand this book. (Sorry, it's a little bit cultural, I thought it's a good opportunity, I hope that is not too intellectual in this context)

People love misery, love to see other more miserable and love to feel bigger than others... It is mainly an ego thing.

I keep saying it...

apologies for arriving late on this discussion! This topic is closely related to horse ownership, owning a horse affords one license to judge

I guess that's the problem than isn't it. We should have a welcome pop up for all the new members. Thank you for joining and welcome to the EF, get ready to get your a@@ kicked.
I realize I'm confirming your hypothesis, but if you think this is a 'hard-nosed' forum, you've lead a charmed and sheltered life. Compared to some forums I've seen, this is a kiddie pool.

From what I've seen, people here are almost invariably polite.

Oh, you didn't get banned? You broke the forum rules when you deleted the posts of yours. The ones where you made a complete idiot out of yourself. And yes, I would laugh about that one in your face in real life as well. (Unless you are as tall and strong as Uncle Max...)
