As the OP said, 'it's safe here'. Well all the time you are sharing your shortbread it will be . I'll swap you a chocolate chip cookie.

Always, always have brown sugar in my tea. Have talked myself into the fact it is healthier than the white stuff. So yes plentiful supplies here and when a care parcel arrives from the UK there will also be my favourite tea.

I would get the sack if we ever ran out of brown sugar, or biscuits, or rum, or..........oh never mind the list is just too long

Thanks clarejane - can't wait for cream tea at the Georges (Stamford) when we next visit 'back home' Upthehatters ironing is one of my pet hates - so yes I can, no I won't.

Mods usually keep an eye on Threads by swiftly scanning through to make sure all that they are not wandering too far off-topic and that no-one is becoming aggressive. I flatly refuse to check this Thread any longer. Ginger biscuits... cream teas... brown sugar...

I just put it in the oven. I haven't had one in about 6 years due to being celiac. But I've discovered gluten free baking and its goooood

Is there a good way to post a piece of pie

Yum yum! Had some Raki at the wedding of one of hubby's co-workers... very yummy!

Oh! And!
I could swear I've seen a recipe for some gluten free cinnamon rolls and am looking for it (something I like quite a lot with tea and coffee) but while looking, I stumbled across this website (blog) and thought those who have need to cook GF would enjoy the site (her writing is quite fantastic also): Gluten-Free Girl

Pie out of the oven... want it with or without Gruyere double cream?

And Mr Hatters! I think those curtains should remain open, not sure you're to be trusted
