I hugged a tree and I liked it!!!

Had a great walk in the woods today and looking at the trees I was thinking how wonderful and useful they are. Houses, rail tracks, filters of the air etc.

I suddenly felt a real urge to hug one.

I looked and nearby there was rather a sad looking one with one side of the trunk nearly bare.

I wrapped my arms around it and felt the most incredible warm feeling and actually felt close to tears.

Weird or something else??

Trees give you some energy. I do it quite often ....

add : some very sensitive people can speak with them, but that would be for another thread, about "spirits of the nature"....

It's a nice thought...Nature in general is charged with good vibe. Love trees, miss living in the SteCroix, really, so green there. Middle of town is all just ugly cement.

Re: I hugged a tree and I liked it!!!

I am a very tactile person and would appreciate a tree much more by touching the bark than by looking at it. I don't think it's too weird but now I need to join a Middle East thread to de-fluffeh myself.

No, you can get them ready for the pot at Migros (I did, for last night's dinner)
