Well we can simply suggest by posting here and mention "OP: do not try yet, we will compile a troubleshooting method in a single post".
Yes but exactly we need to know the root cause, not to give him 5 different workaround which can do more harm than anything else-
That's why he has to answer a few "background questions" (what's this "antivirus he installed"? "how come he knows he got a virus?").
We also need to know why his F8 seems not working.
If he would listen to you, he would have already dual boot windows/linux, a MasterBootRecord changed (which by the way would screw his Linux if he does the fix for windows after the dual boot), some data saved in an external socket for HDD, etc....)- or he could even crap the MBR, etc....
And maybe he simply has a boot issue fixable by a single "system restore"!!!
