Top 5 made up words that became actual words:

1) Ginormous (need I say more)
2) Truthiness (Thanks, Stephen Colbert)
3) McJob (Apparently McDonalds wasn't so happy about this)
4) Frankenfood (should we thank McDonalds for that one too?)
5) Comb-over (he he he)

#1 Reason I love the English language:

You can pretty much make up any word and if you use it in a sentence people will know what you're talking about. And, if enough people start using it, it goes into the dictionary.
Made up words help my husband and I communicate better...item (5) on my list, neither of us can take credit for. However, the rest..I've never heard anywhere else. Maybe they'll make it into a dictionary??

(5) Strategery (coined by my president--I didn't vote for him either..so please don't blame me)
(4) Gimammaries (as in look at those "Gimammaries"--frequent announcement from my husband in town.)
(3) Yammies (Yummy + see above, not a term used by me...but I hear my husband say it, again...frequently in town)
(2) Garmantuan (Gargantuan + man..one of my preferred words)
(1) Fappy (Fat + Happy = the way one should feel after a great meal, not to be confused with Fuilty)

The movie sucked, but anyhoo, here´s my list......

1) The underground that went under. (all we have of it is the 3 tram stations in the tunnel)

2) The Cobra got re-coiled. (sticking with the tram theme)

3) The boat don´t float. But it makes a loverly restaurant.

4) Everybody HATES the X-mas lights!

5) Intestinal "art" in Enge - or bad artitude

.....things to waste money on in Zürich.

Just quoting myself for the purpose of fixing my typo. I feel it is essential to be able to spell your destination, otherwise you may never get there.
