general question about life and growing up

Is there any way to get like the bright color backs to my life and the overall happiness that I used to feel as a child?

I mean this:

Nothing really Excites me anymore.... is this a phase of growing up?
Kinda sucks that I seem to get emotions pretty much on cruise control nowadays.

Truth is it don`t come to find you, you gotta go find it. Easily said I know, but its so true. Noone can tell you to "go to this place or check that thing out" cos thats theirs. You need to search out yours. Look on the bright side, if your feeling a bit drab, you aint ever really hit skid row so thats good. Onwards and upwards.

Try sledging, it makes me giggle like a schoolchild.

Mountain bikes are good too, they encourage a bit more fun than the road going ones.

that actually sounds good (sledging, not you giggling).

Mountain bikes too.

I usually think of something like skydiving, but at the end this sort of things you (or at least me) can only do it so many times until it becomes routine.

I practice BJJ for example, in the beginning it was very exciting, now it's the daily thing. I'll keep on doing it, but it's not the " Waiting for Xmas eve" sort of feeling that I don't longer get about stuff.

Too much depressing mood for sping on my part I guess . :msncrazy:

As a child, your parents "bring you" the excitement, by taking you to the sächsilüüt umzug, or other exciting things to do for kids.

As a grown-up, you have to find your own way, but also have the responsibility of paying bills etc.

The "lulls" in life are usually a sign that you want try and find some more stress.. when your job is easy, your girlfriend is happy, your house is comfortable, people seem less happy- no stress -so they go and find it by asking their girlfriend to marry them, buying a new house, finding a new job.

One of my favourite books of all time:

Being Happy, by Andrew Matthews

About the book.

I always find pornography provides transient release (or relief?).

I guess it is related to stress in some levels, back in Mexico stress with work was so high that I could barely think of anything. I wasn't happy, but I didn't have time to think that I wasn't. know everything is more or less under control and I just think to myself " well damn, it's not as fun as I thought it would be". the problem remains the same How do you manage to search for something that will make you have the LOLZ again? just try it all out? that could be dangerous.

a p0rn, you make the internet work. See with porn ,if you have it as a hobby, you'll have a dilemma.
If it is high quality production and plot and stuff, eventually you realize that it is sorta fake, and then I'd think you'd go searching for amateur stuff, and then that would be over and on to the next category on the pr0n site of your choice. You can only go so far until pr0n options run out, no?

Try giving up the EF for a week, get outside, meet some people and just enjoy the fact you are well and mobile. Youre sure to get a few smiles and that always gets the pulse racing.
