Anyone got unlucky today?

Well.. I did. Something dreadful happened today.

I got a cold and lost my voice... and I'm booked to give a presentation this afternoon

I'd rather not say on a public forum, but just that something that puts me in bad mood... today and for foreseeable future. But its ok, nothing I cannot deal with.

Friday the 13th has always been a lucky day for me.

I forgot my lunch today.



But the hardware store downstairs has pitched tents and is demo-ing Weber grills and serving free sausage complete with wine from the region.

Though, if I partake and imbibe, I wonder if something really bad will happen?!

I'm not normally superstitious but today has really gone t*ts up for me. Should have stayed in bed...

At least the sun is shining again, though.

i spilled a full glass of water on my new laptop when i walked into the office. but i think that was more because i am tired than the date

A black cat took a crap on my (potentially winning) CHF 165M Swiss lottery ticket, then proceeded to fall out of my office window on the 13th storey onto the sidewalk and lived; clearly taking my daily dose of good karma to offset gravity instead of bringing me to riches. FML!

I'm still undecided whether or not it was unlucky... hubby woke, I thought to myself "ahh, 5 more minutes"... and woke up about 2hrs later than planned, offsetting my whole day.

Nice to sleep in, not so nice to have my morning gone.
