You have to visit the "Garden of England" Kent. Not far from London,

Beautiful Canterbury, beautiful Kent Countryside, Whitstable beach and of course the famous local brew by Shepherds Neame - a brewey based in Faversham and in most Kentish pubs - serving the famous Spitfire Ale

Being in Hastings, I am biased towards Sussex. Plenty to choose from as mentioned. Cotswolds would be my second choice

Kent is right next to Sussex. We also have Shepherd Neame here. I am drinking it right now actually.
