We are going to drive to the seaside, in Italy or maybe south france, for a few days in the summer, this year we thought maybe we would try camping or self catering/mobile home whatever, just wondered if any one has been to france or Italia and stayed at any campsites, they would reccomend.
Child friendly ( a 5 yr old) close to sea, and under 8 hr drive, for Italia this year, I fancy somewhere cose to venice.
Let me know if you have had any experiences.

3 bed mobile home, Siblu (ex haven), 5 min walk to beach, child friendly with clubs, shows etc.

I can't offer a recommendation based on direct experience (although I once had a week on Lake Garda 40 yrs ago - kind of like a beach holiday, and close enough for a day trip to Venice).

However for the the type of holiday you've described, Reka might be worth looking at.

We have done our camping hols with Eurocamp - www.eurocamp.ch - only in France - west coast and Cote dAzur, near Fréjus.
