(Wanted to quote both MusicChick and Tom, but can't seem to figure out how to do the multiple quote in one post thing).
See the Quote button at the bottom right hand corner of the posts you want to quote? Next to it is a small button depicting a piece of paper and a +. Click that on each post you want to quote, then press Reply.

The box that comes up will include all the quoted posts, in their entirety. Cut them down (try not to delete the quote tags at the beginning and end), and post away!

Have fun!

Difficult for us, we almost never eat dinner before 8PM, sometimes as late as 10PM!

Re: Fast fatty foods

Leni,

I think you are very immature.

You have had some people telling you the other side of the story, to tell you how wrong it is to call people Whale and alike. You refused to admit what others had put you in your face.

You keep going around the forum and keep passing comments about this topic and people ''attacking'' you. Poor little girl!

You groan at people in a tit for tat manner and you do the same with reputation system.

You refused to sit down and THINK for a moment.

Tit for tat rep is not allowed on this forum. I gave you a bad mark not because of you very offensive comments, no. I accepted you were like this, I thought it was your opinion even if it is wrong indeed. I gave you red rep because you keep your head in the sand or your hands on your ears if you prefer by refusing to LISTEN.

I told you that I believe you were offensive and I can't agree with you.

What was your reaction and answer?

As immature as your behavior on this topic.

Re: Fast fatty foods

Let's keep it on topic please, Nil.

How late should one eat at night?
Well, how about "dinner cancelling"?

http://www.novafeel.com/health/dinner-cancelling.htm

it apparently works for Sir Cliff Richard, keeping him young as well as slim.

Not to mention as boring as hell. Now we know why!!

One apple or a glass of milk after 4pm, as a treat?

Re: Fast fatty foods

I would probably have lost weight - as neither of us had time to eat at lunch-time either! Must say though that now we are retired, we try to eat our main meal at lunch-time and only light in the evening, soup and a yogurt, around 6.

Sorry Nil, but who made you EF Conqueror and Wizardess of the Wise around here? Was this an elected position or one that you created for yourself? I certainly don't remember voting for you, or I must have been trimming my toenails on that day and missed it completely.

We're all free to post opinions here and take the consequences. If you feel that agitated, just back off; it's only a forum, a place where people chat because at that specific moment they haven't got anything better to do with their time. Now, deep breath and let's share some Canada Day warmth and sunshine and you can rant on about the Alouettes winning their season opener last night.

You know, this actually works quite well.
I've got a fixation regarding weight. Whenever I'm a few 100grs off, I'll cancel dinner for myself (though I'll cook for my guys at home). It usually knocks off 1/2 a kg by next morning.

Like it has been said before, we are all ok for opinions and it is great to share them and get other points of view to it.

What is not ok is to be insulting and disrespectful. All who told that before still stand on this and it won't change. Calling someone names and refusing to admit the wrong in it or even worse, saying it wasn't said is childish.

Going around the forum and crying to be misunderstood or being bullied for it is childish, like you said: Take the consequences! Do it like a man, like a woman, not like a kid.

I get my load of red rep in time too, I don't go back to tit for tat. Because I deserved it in the head of the person, I will ask if the person is willing to tell me why, basta.

That is taking it like a grown up adult. Same as trying to change subject to hide the hidious. Writting stays.

On one side people get all offended because someone calls smokers selfish and disrespectful and the person apologised for it, here, you have someone calling big people whale and being down right insulting and we should let it go?

Apologies is not something difficult to do when you respect the people you chat with.
