My ex is being investigated for fraud

My daughters father, my ex, who lives in the UK has been fiddling the benefits system for some years now.

On Monday he has an "Interview Under Caution" with housing benefits. Anyone know what happens during these meetings.....? What happens after? Will they stop his benefits?

Re: My ex is being investigated for fraud

In the swiss system or in the UK system ?

If it's the UK system I'm sure there are advice services out there...but ultimately you might need to wait until the wheels turn as you are only a 'third party' to the whole situation...good luck...

Simple Google search will give you more ideas on what sort of trouble he is in (and posting on a public forum that you know he's been fiddling the system is probably not a wise thing to do unless you want him convicted)...

* Pretty much yes, why would they keep apying out for someone who is not entitled to the benefits.
* They will most probably seek repayment of the amount he has defrauded
* Possible court appearance
* Criminal record
* Depends pretty much on the seriousness of how much & how long.

No sympathy from me as I have had to work my butt off all my life and pay stupid amounts of tax and social and never claimed a penny.

Those that deserve and are needy should recieve those that are not should not, simple!

Re: My ex is being investigated for fraud

I can google search but at the end of the day I want to know if anyone knows anything about them.

Also he is in the UK so this forum is far removed from him and would have no bearing on a conviction. That comes down to his own actions.
