I'm watching a BBC documentary on Leprosy. I'm so thankful and grateful that none of my friends or family suffer from this terrible disease. A friend of mine (in The Netherlands) is experiencing a really hard time getting the proper care for her autistic son. This sent my thoughts trailing off to so many of the other things that I am thankful/grateful for.

I have my trials and difficulties that I battle through on a daily basis, however, looking at how others suffer really puts things into perspective.

So what am I thankful/grateful for?

- a healthy and strong family
- a loving home
- fresh clean water readily available
- a safe home
- being able to provide for my children
- not only having food in the house but also having the privilege of being able to include all the different food groups in our diets
- my faith
- electricity
- access to fantastic health care

These are just some of the things I think about daily.

Is there anything specific that you are also thankful for?

me husband, he may be quiet but when he say's something he means it.

that's such a nice thing to say and to feel

I'm grateful for the love I've received and the love I've given
It's a fine feeling to be comforted and taken care of and it's also a privilege when you can do the same.

What, like "get me a beer"?

to have a good health.
