Does anyone know the rules regarding council tenants and dogs ?

Mrs. G and I were home last week and we’ve got a bit of a problem with an oik and his dog who live in a council flat one street over but who’s garden backs on to ours… His frigging little mutt of a dog barks constantly ( he says it never barks for more than 15mins. ) and has on a few occasions now been getting into our garden and doing his business.

Talking to this piece of work he says its our responsibility to install a fence to keep the mutt out as the council won’t let him.

Obviously I’m going to be talking to the council about this but has anyone ever heard of such a thing?... Why should I have to pay to keep his mutt under control ?

He'll find that he is obliged to keep his dog in a secured area, if he is allowed a dog at all in the flat.
The council will see you right but they aren't the quickest people in the worl when something needs doing.

thanks Kevlegs... we had some problems with him last year as well and some complaints were raised then ( not by us ) so I guess it's time to shake up the council abit again.
