Second round invite

Hello All

This is kind of like a Miss Manners question, but since I'm dealing with so many different cultures/customs in this case, I thought the EF might have some interesting answers.

Say you are having an important event and several folks have backed out last minute. Due to VERY limited space constraints, you had to limit your invites. You would have loved for said person to come, but had to make some tough choices. Now that people have backed out, you would be so happy if said person could attend and believe they would have a great time too.

Is it rude to invite them last minute?

No, just be upfront about the situation to your new invitees...

Re: Second round invite

No 'thanks' are possible in off-topic forums - shame, you cannot thank me for this valuable bit of information.
